Over the last 20 years, PEAC and the Celebration of Cycling have had some wonderful collaborations with Bike Clubs, Service Organizations, families and friends.
Here is a blurb from Diana, the DCC president, about the fantastic relationship between her club and PEAC.
Downriver Cycling Club has a long history of collaboration with John Waterman's PEAC organization. We have supported PEAC's (and before that, ARC's) Celebration of Cycling event since its inception, with riders, day of event assistance and funding. We have also, from within our membership, provided mentors to riders and tandem captains. The members of PEAC have always been a very dedicated and skilled team, filling a vital niche within the cycling community that they serve. The growth of the organization and its influence within the SE Michigan community and beyond has been exciting to follow. We wish John and his team success in this year's endeavors , and look forward to hosting many PEAC riders on our forthcoming 30th annual Metro Grand Spring Tour, to be staged on Sunday, May 5th, from Willow Metropark in New Boston.
